ate pouco tempo atras era so ate terrabyte mesmo. os outros tiveram q ser inventados pra calcular o tamanho do servidor da google.

Muito bom, fercosmig!

Na verdade os nomes já até existiam, só era difícil achar algo com essa capacidade.

Hoje os grandes servidores (Sim, Google) já alcançam isso.

até onde sei, b = bit, B = byte.

Logo:

1 Mb = 1 Megabit

1 MB = 1 Megabyte

Isso gera conflito no caso de valocidade de Internet. Uns acham que é Megabyte, mas é Megabit. A fim de colocar o rabo longe, os provedores dizem apenas "mega".
