Administração do site é lenta pra caramba!

Oi galera, tenho um site de balada e o site todo (cpanel, mysql, ftp, site) funciona perfeitamente, sem da um lag, mais va entrar na administração, demora em média 5min para carregar uma página, eu acrédito que seja a conexão com o banco de dados, deve ter algo de errado, mais não sei o que...

de atemão, vou postar o script "secure.php" que é o que faz a conexão na parte da administração...

e em "$cfgServerHost" eu já havia colocado localhost, mais da no mesmo...queria saber porque está tão lento...só na parte da adm.
