Me ajudem função Clock() retornando 0 em C

Question

Galera estou com problema na função clock() em C, ela só me retorna o valor 0... alguém poderia me ajudar? Mesmo eu pedindo para exibir o time1 ou o time2 quanto o tempo total, tudo mostra 0....

#include "pratica_6.h"

int main(int argc, char** argv)
{
    clock_t time1, time2;
    double tempo;

    Lista* l = criaLista();

    inicializarTAD(l);

    time1 = clock();

    insertionSort(l);

    time2 = clock();

    tempo = ((time2 - time1)/(CLOCKS_PER_SEC/1000));

    printf("Execucao: %lf\n", tempo);
    printf("Num elementos: %d\n", TAM);
    printf("Num comparacao: %d\n", numcompara);
    printf("Num trocas: %d\n", numtroca);

return 0;
}
