Se em asp não dá, em que linguagem poderia ser feito??? -
Olá pessoal, Estou desenvolvendo um site em asp que necessita a integração com bancos de dados locais, de várias filiais. Preciso de rotinas que façam upload e download de arquivos txt para efetuar as atualizações. Estas atualizações serão efetuadas automaticamente a cada 20 minutos. Portanto, será necessário que isso se execute sem a ação ou autorização do usuário. Quanto ao período, tudo bem, posso usar o refresh, porém não consegui encontrar rotinas para upload e download satisfatórias. Alguém pode me indicar onde as encontro? Na verdade, o problema não é com servidor, hospedagem ou código. Apenas configuração do browser. Em outras máquinas não ocorre o erro !!!

Acontece que o submit deve ser para a mesma página, pois ela será remontada preenchendo o segundo campo dependendo do valor do primeiro. Vou escrever o código e volto a responder.

No início desta página, você deve, utilizando asp, consultar seu banco de dados, isto se o request do primeiro campo estiver preenchido, então você preenche o segundo com o conteúdo desejado do banco. Utilize o onchange do primeiro campo para submeter o formulario.
