No Ópera Naum Funfa

o código abaixo verifica a versão do navegador e se for atual, exibe um link, senão exibe uma mensagem:

<script language=javascript>
function IE3() {

if((navigator.appName == "Microsoft Internet Explorer") && (parseInt(navigator.appVersion) >= 3))
return true;
return false;
if (IE3())
document.write("<IFRAME frameborder=0 scrolling=no style='width:450px; height=207px; marginTop:0' src='http://www.sitex.com.br/'></IFRAME>");
document.write("<b>Para navegar nesta página, você precisa atualizar a versão de seu browser. <a href='http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/'>Clique aqui para instalar</a></b>.");

Só que no Ópera aparece a mensagem de qualquer forma, algum conselho?
